0-fer Anaheim

The Red Sox bats remained silent in SoCal as Jared Weaver held them to just 2 hits in 7 1/3 innings.  Pedroia, Ortiz, Bay, Lowell, Drew and Gonzalez all had goose eggs at the plate in the game. The Red Sox lone run came in the 4th when Ells led off the inning with a triple and V-Mart drove him in with a base hit.

Beckett was dealing for most of the game but he walked Vlad to start the 7th and then the Angels took the lead and did not look back.  The Sox did get the tying run up inSource: Fenway West RSS Feed
