The Mets still haven't settled their coaching staff, originally it was reported that Razor Shines would no longer be the 3B coach but he'd have a role somewhere on the team. But with Alomar Jr. moving to 1B, Chip Hale coming in at 3B and the Mets apparently seeking a new bench coach, that leaves Shines as the fifth coach which is usually the catching coach for teams that carry five.
